Preface#
Nah nah nah~ I've been wanting to change the blog framework for a long time, and today I finally mustered the courage to switch to the good-looking and user-friendly Mix-Space.
Why#
I really have a love-hate relationship with the previous Typecho.
Love it because I've been using it for almost 4 years, so I've developed feelings for it.
Hate it because PHP performance is too poor, and without a Web Application Firewall (WAF) interception, it couldn't even handle a nationwide speed test from a friend.
I also tried using Memcached, which led to a bunch of bugs.
There aren't many attractive themes for Typecho either, and I got tired of using "handsome" for 3 years.
So, I came to Mix-Space.
Why choose this one#
On one hand, it's a front-end and back-end separation, which is relatively less prone to crashing compared to PHP, and the front-end can be deployed on any Platform as a Service (PaaS).
On the other hand, it uses the latest and hottest Next.JS framework, I've also been learning JS recently, so I might as well take a look.
Another reason is that Innei recently fixed its Markdown parsing.
And the theme is good-looking~ Innei is really amazing~
Drawbacks#
The downside is probably because the link structure of Typecho and Mix-Space is different.
If I switch, I'll have to redo the SEO that has accumulated over almost a year since the last database deletion.
And all the previous comments will be lost.
But I don't mind, as long as I'm comfortable~
